Lauren and Patrick: Chilliwack Lake Adventure Engagement Session

Lauren and I had randomly followed each other on Instagram for a while when I saw that she and Patrick got engaged! I remember commenting on her post how much I loved her engagement ring. The next day, Lauren reached out about an engagement session, and the rest was history.

We met at Chilliwack Lake Park on the sunny March day (I found out later that it was actually Lauren’s BIRTHDAY) and we made the long treck through the campsite to the lake. It was a beautiful, clear day and it was TOTALLY empty, which is basically a miracle. Lauren and Patrick were goofy and sweet and were so willing to do every weird request I asked of them. Best part was that we were able to just relax and hangout for a portion of the day. They brought their favourite Field House brews (Field House is where they first met) and we toasted to their engagement and watched the mountains for a while. Not a bad day if you ask me.

Later, Patrick brought out his guitar and surprised Lauren with a song he wrote her for her birthday. *Cue tears.* Check out the video here!
